ABOUT TOMMY

Born and raised in South New Jersey, Tommy made Jersey style sandwiches for 3 years as a young man.  Then he ate them for the next 25 years!  He went on to college in South Philadelphia and ate them there for 3 more years.  On South Street, he learned the Philadelphia sandwich presentation.

Tommy’s from a family of 5 kids and he was called to cooking duty at the young age of 10.  His mother and grandmother were excellent cooks and Tommy actually enjoyed it. As an adult scout leader, he specialized in teaching cooking.  After that, he spent 10 years training adult leaders and you guessed correct, he was on the quartermaster staff.

As Tommy retires from corporate America, he comes to the Outer Banks to live a new fulfilled life.  As a means of thanks, he wants to give you the best, affordable, true South Philadelphia or South Jersey sandwich presentation on the Outer Banks.  As he tells everyone, “It’s all in the roll, meat and care”!

As a mate out of Cape May for 5 years, he knows why and how to Boat and Beach wrap your hoagie and sandwich to keep it fresh for 2 days.  This way, you will get to enjoy “just made” quality.  It’s an easy way to keep your sandwich fresh and tasty for your vacation here on the Outer Banks, NC.
